Bundelsliga could be back on May 15 (link)...

Couple of notes...

1: 13 of Germany's top 36 clubs face face insolvency. That includes Schalke 04, one of the country's bigger clubs. USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie plays for Schalke.

2: The clubs must finish the season by June 30 to claim an installment of television money worth around 300 million euros ($325 million).

3: Germany's richest clubs - Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig - have pledged 20 million euros ($22 million) to help their rivals facing financial difficulty.

4: Germany seems to be ahead of the other European leagues. Belgium and Holland have cancelled completely. Some players in England and Spain are basically refusing to play.
